BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM (BSM)

BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM (BSM)

Blind-spot monitoring emits signals that transmit data to the rear of the vehicle to detect approaching vehicles and those in drivers' blind spot areas. The data determines whether a quick alert activates when the Mazda is beginning to switch lanes. An indicator warns the driver on the dashboard to prevent an improper lane change, avoiding an accident.

ADAPTIVE FRONT-LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)

ADAPTIVE FRONT-LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)

The Adaptive Front-lighting System manages the emission of light factoring in driving conditions. It factors in speed, direction and steering. As the driver adjusts the steering during travel, the headlights adjust according to the Mazda's steering direction. Therefore, higher visibility is available on roadways at all times according to the driver's control input.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT (RCTA)

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT (RCTA)

When the Mazda is in reverse, sensors monitor vehicular activity from the right and left. Both visual and audio warnings actives upon the detection of approaching or still vehicles in the rearward path. In some cases, if a pedestrian is nearby, the alerting system is activated to prevent injury to a person and avoid damage to the Mazda. The audible alerts are quick and are more rapid as you get closer to the obstacle.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM (LDWS)

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM (LDWS)

Once the Mazda begins its progression toward its lane's boundary lines, an audible alert will sound if no blinker is activated. If the driver does not respond in time, the Mazda may automatically adjust to remain between the driving lines.

HIGH BEAM CONTROL SYSTEM (HBC)

HIGH BEAM CONTROL SYSTEM (HBC)

The High Beam Control System embeds the Mazda to toggle between high and low beam emission during night travel. The technology has sensors to scan the road for oncoming vehicles. If no approaching cars are prevalent, the high beam will automatically activate. If there is an approaching vehicle, and the high beams are active, the Mazda will shift down to low beam status.

SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT (SCBS)

SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT (SCBS)

The Smart City Brake Support generally operates when the Mazda operates between approximately 4 - 30 km/h. The front sensors are scanning obstacles in the Mazda's path. Upon detecting a hazard in progress, the audible alerts activate to warn the driver to begin braking. This feature shines during a traffic jam as it warns distracted drivers of upcoming stopping situation.

MAZDA RADAR CRUISE CONTROL (MRCC)

MAZDA RADAR CRUISE CONTROL (MRCC)

Millimetre-wave radar is what's behind the Mazda Radar Cruise Control technology. It monitors the driving conditions of the car ahead, such as their speed. It will monitor its quickness to maintain a safe distance away, at times coming to a complete stop.

FORWARD OBSTRUCTION WARNING (FOW)

FORWARD OBSTRUCTION WARNING (FOW)

Active at 15 km/h, the Forward Obstruction Warning will detect an oncoming vehicle's approach. Suppose the car is heading in the direction, suggesting an oncoming collision. In that case, the technology will alert the driver to allow sufficient time to avert an impact. The sensors begin with an intermittent chirp that will increase in rapidity as the oncoming vehicle approaches

SMART BRAKE SUPPORT (SBS)

SMART BRAKE SUPPORT (SBS)

When the vehicle is travelling between 4-30 km/h, the frontal sensors seek an obstacle in the sight of driving. Once a block in the roadway is evident, it will prepare the braking system for sudden stops or adjustments, resulting in a safer slow down with a better-controlled deacceleration.
